Our CEO, Yuki Kita will take the stage at the “Open Symposium for Promoting the Utilization of Climate Change Risk Information”

Yuki Kita, CEO of our company, will speak at the symposium “Open Symposium for Promoting the Utilization of Climate Change Risk Information~Prospects for Physical Risk Analysis of Climate Change~” (held on October 11, 2022) hosted by the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Financial Services Agency, and the National Institute for Environmental Studies.

Our company, Gaia Vision, has been participating in the “Climate Change Risk Industry-Government-Academia Collaboration Network” led by the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, etc. for some time. The Financial Services Agency has also newly joined as the host ministry and agency, and it has been decided to further deepen cooperation among related parties. As part of this effort, an “Open Symposium for Promoting the Utilization of Climate Change Risk Information” will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in the form of an online conference.

Public Symposium 2022 to promote the use of climate change risk information

About the Symposium

In addition to introducing the latest trends in climate change risk information, government initiatives, and examples of initiatives by companies, the lecturer discusses issues and future directions for promoting the use of climate change risk information through discussions by officials from industry, government, and academia.
At Gaia Vision, Mr. Kita, a representative of Gaia Vision, as a venture company that utilizes climate change risk information in business, will take the stage and introduce our company’s initiatives and thinking on climate change risk under the title of “The Role of Business Seamlessly Connecting Climate and Society,” and will also take the stage in the panel discussion that follows.

Climate Change Risk Industry-Government-Academia Collaboration Network

This network is a forum for exchanging opinions and collaborating between companies that mainly provide consulting services such as climate change and impact prediction and TCFD disclosure support, and government agencies and research institutes. Industry, government, and academia work together to share needs for climate change risk information, enhance the information infrastructure by providing information in line with the needs, and promote the appropriate use of information related to climate change-related risks and opportunities.
