Our work with Kyushu Electric Power Co. on hydropower flow forecasting was featured in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun

We and Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. are jointly conducting a technical validation of flow forecasting for hydroelectric power generation projects overseas. We made a presentation on this effort at the “ShinketsuGo! Fukuoka” on January 22, 2025, and was introduced in the January 23 edition of the Nikkei news

The “Shinketsugo! Fukuoka” is an open innovation promotion consortium consisting of Kyushu Electric Power Company, Nishinippon Railroad Company, and TOPPAN Inc. 13 projects were selected as finalists out of approximately 300 business ideas in FY2024, and our initiative was one of them.

We will continue to improve our forecasting technology in the hydroelectric power generation business through collaboration with Kyushu Electric Power Co.
