Gaia Vision members Kita and Demoto’s proposal was selected for the IPA MITOU Advanced Program in 2023!
The proposal by CEO Kita and Co-founder Demoto has been selected for the IPA MITOU Advanced Program for FY2023. The 8-month project will begin in July 2023 and aims to develop a practical flood forecasting application that can predict the extent and depth of inundation in real time. What is the IPA MITOU Advanced Program?
The MITOU Advanced Program is a program by IPA (Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan) to develop highly skilled IT human resources who can contribute to the development of IT-related industries in Japan, with marketable and outstanding ideas and high development feasibility that can contribute to solving social issues. The program was launched in 2017 by IPA, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Unexplored (“MITOU”) IT human resources are trained under the supervision of project managers with outstanding skills and track records so that they can make the most of their ideas and technical skills and link them to business and solutions to social issues.
