Gaia Vision spoke at “Open Bridge” at Sendai BOSAI-TECH

Gaia Vision spoke at the pitch event “Open Bridge” hosted by Sendai BOSAI-TECH. Sendai BOSAI-TECH is an innovation platform to promote the social implementation of disaster prevention technology, operated by the city of Sendai. It serves as a place where companies, organizations, and experts active in the fields of “disaster prevention,” “technology,” and “business” participate to continuously create new solutions and new businesses for various disaster prevention themes through collaboration among industry, academia, and government.

The program “Open Bridge” called for solutions that solve disaster prevention and mitigation issues by technology. Here, Gaia Vision’s “Real-time Flood Prediction Solution” was selected and demonstrated in the program.

We received comments and feedback from local government officials on the solution from the perspective of actual disaster management practices after the demonstration, leading to a lively discussion.
