Gaia Vision spoke at the Impact Pitch final session of the Nikkei-sponsored “Super DX/SUM”

It is our pleasure to announce that Gaia Vision has been selected as a finalist for the pitch event of the Nikkei-sponsored “Super DX/SUM” and spoke at the Impact Pitch session. The finalists for this Impact Pitch were selected from among many startups through the first-round listing by the secretariat and the second-round listing including public voting. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to those who have voted for us, especially in the second round.

Overview of our pitch in Super DX/SUM

In this event, we presented our vision of the society we aim to realize, efforts in technology/solution/business development, and future prospects, starting from our view on the issues related to climate change. For example, we touched on our climate change risk analysis platform, “Climate Vision” usage images, the publication in MLIT’s manual, and the development status of our real-time flood forecasting solution. We received questions from the judges about how these forecasting solutions could be used to implement actual countermeasures and the advantages of Gaia Vision’s analytical technology at a global scale. We appreciate the constructive discussions we had both inside and outside the pitch event.

About Super DX/SUM

The “Super DX/SUM 2023” was a comprehensive event on digital transformation (DX), organized by Nikkei Inc. It was held from September 5 to 8, 2023, in Tokyo. With the key concept of “Living in an era with integrated real and digital,” new innovations through collaboration across industries and organizations in finance, climate change, energy, food, and agriculture were discussed. The event also hosted a pitch contest for startups and introduced innovative approaches to local revitalization combining food and DX.
